Shan Wade

Advisory Board Member at Steps Therapy

Shan Wade has a wealth of experience in leadership roles, particularly in sales and business development. Shan began their career in 1999 at Yahoo! as an Account Executive and later specialized in Federal Government and Defense Contractor sales. This led to him leading the Federal Government strategy for Yahoo!'s DC office before moving to the corporate HQ in NYC.

In 2007, Shan joined Steps Therapy as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), overseeing revenue-generating activities. After a successful stint at Steps Therapy, they joined Simply Hired as the Head of Sales and Business Development. There, they built and managed a sales team of 20+ members and significantly increased revenue through sales to small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and Recruitment Ad Agencies.

In 2010, Shan joined POLITICO as the Director of Consumer Advertising Sales, where they were responsible for leveraging the user demographic to sell to Consumer Advertising Agencies. Shan'sefforts in creating advertising packages and maximizing revenue from programmatic ad inventory resulted in a 30% increase in online advertising revenue.

In 2012, Shan co-founded STEPS Home Care, a licensed private pay home care agency serving the greater New York City area. As the President, they built a team of over 100 employees, including HR, recruiting, account management, sales/marketing, and nursing. Under their leadership, STEPS Home Care became the largest private pay home care agency in Westchester County.

Finally, in 2022, Shan became the President of Irvington Youth Lacrosse, showing their commitment to volunteer work and community engagement.

Shan Wade attended West Virginia University from 1992 to 1996, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study. After that, Shan Wade attended West Virginia State University from 1996 to 1997, but again did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
