Hiroshi Aikawa

Mr. Aikawa leads StepStone’s business development and client relations activities in Japan.

Prior to joining StepStone, Mr. Aikawa served as general manager and led the alternative and fund investment department at Nissay Asset Management in Japan where he oversaw its global private equity and infrastructure primary fund of funds, co-investment fund and fund of hedge funds businesses. Mr. Aikawa was also involved in the firm’s product development and manager due diligence activities. Before that he was a managing director at Nippon Life Insurance’s London subsidiary and led its private equity fund investment activities in Europe.

Mr. Aikawa received a BA in Commerce from Waseda University in Japan.
