Jose Fernandez

Jose Fernandez is a seasoned legal and finance professional with extensive experience in the investment management industry. Currently serving as a Partner at StepStone Group since February 2007, Jose has played a significant role in shaping the firm's legal and operational strategies. Prior to this, Jose was the Managing Director and General Counsel at Pacific Corporate Group from August 2004 to February 2007, and gained valuable experience as an Associate at Latham & Watkins and Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP from 1997 to 2004. Jose holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Stanford Law School, obtained between 1994 and 1997, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, completed in 1993.
