Qi Liu is the Head of AI at StepStone Group, where they lead the firm’s artificial intelligence strategy to optimize private market investments. With over a decade of experience in private markets, Qi has previously held roles in organizations such as TorreyCove Capital Partners, Macquarie Group, Ballentine Partners, and Wellington Management Company. Their expertise spans US-based small-market buyouts, energy, and co-investments. Qi holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a CFA charterholder.
