Melanie Kinder

Melanie Kinder is an experienced educator and specialist in professional and staff development, currently serving as a Teacher at Monongalia County Schools since August 2020. Prior to this, Melanie held roles at Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as a Specialist and Technology Trainer, and worked as a Special Grants Assistant at HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, INC. From August 2014 to June 2017, Melanie taught Math and Technology Education at Monongalia County Schools, focusing on 8th grade curriculum development. Earlier experience includes positions as a Math Teacher for Kanawha County Board of Education and as a STEM Teacher for STARBASE WV, where instruction was provided to 5th grade students. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education from PennWest California, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
