Cecile Schmollgruber began their professional career in 2007 as a Research Engineer at Nankai University in Tianjin, China. In 2008, they became an Analyst at AXA Investment Managers and also Co-Founder and CEO of Stereolabs. At Stereolabs, they led the company to become the leading provider of 3D depth and motion sensing solutions based on stereovision and artificial intelligence, with over 50,000 users of the ZED camera and SDK. Cecile also enabled developers across multiple industries to create truly intelligent machines and applications that improve our daily lives.
Cecile Schmollgruber obtained an MSc in Optics, Matter & Plasma from \u00c9cole Polytechnique between 2006 and 2009. Cecile then obtained an MSc in Engineering Science from Institut d'Optique Graduate School between 2005 and 2008. Cecile then attended ESSEC Business School between 2008 and 2011, obtaining an MBA in Private Equity. In 2010, they attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, obtaining an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Cecile also attended Babson College in 2008, studying Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Finally, Cecile attended Janson de Sailly, although no degree was obtained from this institution.
