Dr. Marta Slimak-Mastrobuoni

Dr. Marta Slimak-Mastrobuoni has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Marta currently holds the position of Commercial Development Manager Europe at Sterilex, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Operations Manager EMEA at Hygiena from March 2022 to April 2023. From April 2021 to March 2022, they held the position of Head of Sales Operations at BIOTECON Diagnostics GmbH, and prior to that, they served as the Internal Sales Manager from September 2019 to April 2021 at the same company. Before joining BIOTECON Diagnostics GmbH, they were the International Sales and Marketing Manager at MEDIPAN GMBH from April 2018 to September 2019. Dr. Slimak-Mastrobuoni also has research experience, where they worked as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Delbrück Center from October 2014 to March 2018. Prior to that, they held the positions of Postdoctoral Researcher from June 2012 to May 2013 and PHD Student from October 2007 to June 2012 at the same institution. Dr. Marta completed their Erasmus student program at the University of Potsdam from September 2006 to September 2007.

Dr. Marta Slimak-Mastrobuoni holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Freie Universität Berlin. Dr. Marta completed this program from 2007 to 2012. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Plant Physiology from the University of Wroclaw, where they were enrolled from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Marta began their undergraduate education at the University of Wroclaw, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology and Genetics from 2002 to 2005.
