Joe Tallon

Joe Tallon has over 13 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Joe began their career in 2005 as a Junior Engineer at Midland Computers Ltd, followed by a Tutor role at the Department of Education & Skills, Rep. of Ireland in 2008. In 2007, they worked as an IT System Administrator at the Department of Education and Skills - Ireland, where they upgraded the school infrastructure. From 2008 to 2011, Joe held Technical Consultant roles at COMSS Limited and MultiRoofing Systems Ltd, managing and maintaining SBS2003 networks and providing PC/Laptop support. In 2011, Joe became Group IT Project Lead at SteriPack Contract Manufacturing, where they were a Project Manager and Solution Architect for a multi-national Sales Management System. In 2016, they joined Bemis Company, Inc. as IT Business Relationship Manager and supported business integration activities. Joe has been Director, Global IT and Group Information Systems Manager at SteriPack Contract Manufacturing since 2018.

Joe Tallon has a diverse educational background. Joe attended St. Mels College from 1998 to 2003. Joe then completed a Diploma in IT (Support Specialist) from AIT from 2006 to 2008. Most recently, Joe earned a Bachelor of Business (B.B.) from Dublin Business School from 2014 to 2018, with a focus on Business Information Systems & Cloud Computing. Joe has also obtained several certifications, including MCTS - MS Dynamics CRM 2013 from Microsoft in July 2015, A+ Certified Systems Engineer from Comptia, Diploma in Information Technology from FETAC, Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect from Microsoft, Microsoft Certified System Engineer from Microsoft, and Network+ Network Engineer from Comptia.
