Ajay Rao

Ajay Rao is an experienced professional in product engineering and customer support, currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Engineering at STERIS since June 2016. In this role, Ajay oversees the engineering development for Operating Room Integration platforms and multiple enterprise software products, managing a diverse team of engineers and fostering collaboration across various departments. Ajay has implemented agile workflow processes and developed policies in line with regulatory standards, contributing to high employee retention within the Surgical Solutions division. Prior to STERIS, Ajay held significant positions at Black Diamond Video, including Director of Customer Service and Support, and has extensive experience in medical integration projects and clinical trials. Ajay holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University.
