Esther M. Alegria

Dr. Esther M. Alegria, age 64, has been the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of APIE Therapeutics, a preclinical stage pharmaceutical company, since 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Dr. Alegria served as the President and Senior Executive Advisor at Catalyst Excel & Advance, an advisory firm providing operational guidance to senior executives working to launch new pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. From 2005 to 2015, Dr. Alegria held positions of increasing responsibility at Biogen, Inc., most recently as Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing. Since 2021, Dr. Alegria has served as a director and member of the Audit Committee and Corporate Governance Committees of AVID Bioservices, Inc.
