Gordon Thomson

Gordon Thomson is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in reporting, commercial project delivery, and financial management. Since April 2023, Gordon Thomson has been serving as Head of Reporting EMEA at STERIS. Previously, Gordon Thomson was the Chief Executive Officer at Nrgy Ltd from May 2020 to July 2024, overseeing commercial solar PV project delivery and finance. Gordon Thomson also held leadership roles as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer at the London Community Gospel Choir from February 2014 to July 2022, and at Velocity Venture Capital from January 2014 to May 2016, where financial management responsibilities were paramount. Additionally, Gordon Thomson served as Director of Commercial, Infrastructure and Energy at Nottingham City Council from November 2016 to April 2020, focusing on growth and efficiency in energy and infrastructure. Gordon Thomson holds a Chartered Accountant designation from ICAS and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Glasgow.
