Jose Rivera

Jose Rivera, Jr. is a Senior Program Manager for Service Initiatives at STERIS since February 2022, where responsibilities include establishing project management processes and leading strategic service projects. With extensive experience in the United States Army Reserve, Jose holds key positions such as Deputy Commanding Officer of the 7th Psychological Operations Group and Battalion Commander of the 17th Psychological Operations Battalion (Airborne). Previously, Jose worked at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in various roles, including Communications Manager and Leader of Competitive Strategy, contributing to significant projects like the 2021 acquisition of Cooper Tire. Earlier military experience includes multiple leadership roles in the U.S. Army from 2005 to 2012. Jose earned a Bachelor of Science in American Legal Studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA from John Carroll University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Strategic Studies Degree at The United States Army War College, expected to complete in July 2026.
