Michael Hollopeter has extensive experience in engineering and research and development, currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at STERIS since January 2015, where Michael previously held roles including Senior Engineering Manager and Systems Engineering Manager. Prior to STERIS, Michael worked at Space Systems/Loral from May 2011 to January 2015 as a Senior Engineering Specialist, where responsibilities included managing technical programs for satellite communication systems. Earlier, from July 2005 to May 2011, Michael was a Senior Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins, focusing on flight control systems and radar design. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University.
