Dr. Brandon Ludwig is the Director of Research and Development at AM Batteries and a co-inventor of dry powder-based additive manufacturing of batteries. During his Ph.D. studies, he worked with Dr. Pan to understand the impact of powder mixing, deposition, and calendaring characteristics on the dry electrode manufacturing process. Following his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Ludwig moved to Boeing as the integration and certification engineer for the MQ-25 Li-ion battery program. Dr. Ludwig received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology.
