Bas Leemans

Bas Leemans is an experienced professional in the field of social work and youth support, currently serving as a Medewerker Jeugd en Gezin at Sterk Huis since January 2023. Bas holds SKJ registration and has acquired various specialized trainings, including "Signs of Safety," "Multifocus," and several approaches to addressing domestic violence. Additionally, Bas operates Bas Leemans Gaming Therapy, focusing on addressing gaming-related issues through innovative methods. With a significant tenure at Gemeente Heusden since September 2014, Bas has been involved in multiple roles, including as a member of the Youth- and Family Team and as a School Social Worker. Prior experience includes a leadership role as the Chair of the Works Council at Farent and contributions towards the establishment of self-managing social teams.
