Denny Kim

Denny Kim is a seasoned finance professional with a diverse background in private equity and investment banking. Currently, Denny serves as the Founder of Whale Point Capital since 2022 and is a Member of the Board of Directors at Sterling Bank & Trust, FSB, where Denny also leads the ALCO Committee and participates in multiple board committees. As Managing Principal at 7911 Partners, Denny specializes in private investments and advisory services. Previous experience includes serving as an Advisor at Gemspring Capital and Vice President at WL Ross & Co., as well as an Associate at J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC and an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston. Denny holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University, and has studied at The London School of Economics and Political Science and China Europe International Business School.
