Eric Modeen

Eric Modeen is currently the Assistant Chief Engineer at Sterling Bay, a position they have held since 2024. They have a rich background in facilities and maintenance roles, including a senior maintenance mechanic and facilities operations supervisor at Illumina from 2011 to 2025. Prior to that, Eric worked in various capacities at companies such as Genzyme, where they were the Facilities Lead Technician, and Reliable Service and Consulting, serving as a service technician. They also have foundational experience as a facility operator at Pacific Maintenance Co and as a production associate at Quidel Corp. Eric is currently pursuing education at UCSD.
