As a Christian college with more than 120 years of experience, SterlingCollege realizes that education extends beyond the classroom. Sterlingplaces a strong emphasis on spiritual growth through service, and studentlife incorporates a variety of mission trips and community serviceprojects.In the past, the school has arranged trips to Ukraine,Korea and Africa,as well as various underprivileged areas in the United States. Sterlingalso has several religious clubs on campus, such as the Fellowship ofChristian Athletes and Raya 327.Sterling College divides its academics into two schools: Liberal Arts &Sciences, and Professional Studies. Nearly 35 programs of study areavailable on campus and online, including a variety of SecondaryEducation certification programs.If you find that none of Sterling’s majors suit your interests, you candesign your own through the school’s Independent Interdisciplinaryconcentration.Admissions requirements for Sterling include a completed application,high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores. The college offers an earlyadmission option for students in the process of finishing 11th grade.In addition to state federal financial aid, Sterling College funds alimited number of institutional scholarships.
