Al Skat

Al Skat has a diverse work experience in engineering, with a focus on mechanical engineering. Al started their career at Skil Power Tools as a Senior Design Engineer and then moved on to Union Special Corp. as a Senior Project Engineer. Al later worked at Barrington Automation as the Chief Engineer, where they designed custom automatic assembly machinery. Al then joined Automotive Controls Div., ITW, as a Product Testing Laboratory Manager and Special Projects Engineer, where they designed high-volume plastic products and supervised the product testing work. Al then worked at Switchcraft Div. of Raytheon Corp. as the Manager of Research and Development, where they managed the design of high-volume electromechanical products and supervised a team of engineers. Al also worked at Zebra Technologies Corp. and ACCO Brands as a Senior Project Engineer, where they were responsible for project management and engineering design. Al further gained experience as a Senior Product Engineer at Delphi Corporation, where they were involved in product development. Finally, Al worked at Sterling Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer. Throughout their career, Al has collaborated with cross-functional teams and coordinated activities with various departments such as Marketing, Project Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Electrical Engineering.

Al Skat attended Purdue University from 1969 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Al also attended the College of DuPage, although the specific dates and degrees obtained there are not provided.
