Cim Kristi McGinnis

Kristi McGinnis, CIM, has extensive experience in the field of research ethics and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as a Protocol Analyst at Sterling IRB since October 2017, responsibilities include expedited reviews of research protocols and eligibility assessments for principal investigators. Previously, Kristi worked at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital for over 11 years as an Institutional Review Board Administrator, overseeing a wide range of research protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Prior roles include positions at Bayfront Medical Center and Morton Plant Mease. Kristi began a career in the medical field with the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and later as a Med Tech at the Military Entrance Processing Station. Educational background includes an Associate of Arts in Nursing from St. Petersburg College and training from the Field Medical Service School.
