Nirav Nirmal is a seasoned professional in the field of drilling operations with extensive experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently serving as Deputy Head of Drilling Rigs Operations at Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Co. Ltd. since September 2025, Nirav oversees strategic and operational aspects of 20 land rigs in Nigeria, focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Prior to this role, Nirav worked as Rig Manager at ADES, managing offshore drilling for ONGC in India, and held positions at Foresight Group and Shelf Drilling. Nirav began a career in drilling with the ADNOC Group and Kuwait Oil Company and has foundational experience from Transocean and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation.
