Patrick Takaedza

Patrick Takaedza is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in the mining and exploration sector. Currently serving as the Country Head of Gold Projects and Chief Geologist for Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Co. Ltd. since January 2025, Patrick has a proven track record in overseeing geological activities. Prior roles include Chief Geologist at HAMC Minerals LTD, NMCL, and MINELITE LTD from April 2023 to January 2025, where responsibilities included executive planning and management in Mozambique's Alto Ligonha Pegmatite Province. Patrick also held the position of Group Chief Geologist at RioZim Ltd from December 2017 to April 2023, directing geology activities across multiple subsidiaries. Previous experience encompasses managing exploration and mining at Black Mountain Resource's Namekara Mine and providing consultancy services as a Senior Project Geologist at Goldsearch Technical Services. Educational qualifications were obtained from the University of Zimbabwe.
