Brian Peutherer Ficheme

Brian Peutherer FIChemE has over two decades of experience in the field of Environment Health and Safety (EHS). Brian currently serves as the Vice President of Environment Health and Safety at Sterling Pharma Solutions since May 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as the HSE Director at Sterling Pharma Solutions from August 2016 to June 2022.

Before joining Sterling Pharma Solutions, Brian worked as the Corporate HSE Manager at Aesica Pharmaceuticals Ltd from October 2013 to August 2016. Brian also served as the Environment, Safety, Health & Site Services Manager at Piramal Healthcare from June 2006 to October 2013.

In addition, Brian gained valuable experience as a Process Safety Engineer at Pfizer Global Manufacturing from April 2004 to June 2006. Prior to that, they held the role of Process Safety Manager at Rhodia ChiRex from an unknown start date to April 2004. Brian also worked as a Process Safety Manager at Rhodia Pharma Solutions from an unknown start date to 2004.

Brian Peutherer FIChemE completed their A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Greenhead College from 1990 to 1992. Brian then went on to pursue a BEng in Chemical & Process Engineering from Newcastle University, graduating in 1995. In 1995-1996, they furthered their education at Newcastle University by completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Clean Technology & Environmental Management.
