Amit Ramnani

Amit Ramnani has a diverse background in corporate finance and treasury. Amit currently works at Sterlite Power as the Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury, where they are responsible for raising both long-term and short-term funds at the group level. Amit also oversees cash management, statutory & internal audits, and treasury MIS & automation. Prior to their current role, Amit worked at L&T Infrastructure Finance Co Ltd as the Regional Head (North) of the Infrastructure Finance Group. In this role, they managed a substantial asset book and a team of professionals, and was responsible for origination, structuring transactions, and client relationships. Before that, Amit worked at Leighton International as a Manager of Investment and Acquisitions, where they played a key role in divesting a significant equity stake to a large Indian corporate. Amit also worked at CRISIL Infrastructure Advisory as a Manager, handling mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, valuation studies, and regulatory consultancy. Amit's early career includes a role as an Executive in M&A at Tata Power Company Ltd. Overall, Amit has extensive experience and expertise in corporate finance, treasury management, infrastructure finance, investment and acquisitions, and regulatory consultancy.

Amit Ramnani attended Carmel Convent School in Neemuch from 1988 to 2001. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, during the same period, they studied at ICAI and obtained a Chartered Accountant degree in 2005, although their field of study at ICAI is not specified.
