Antony Nellissery

Antony Nellissery has extensive work experience in the education and social development sectors. Antony began their career in 2001 as a Manager at RGSM, where they developed a state education plan and implemented a monitoring system for schools in Madhya Pradesh. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a Consultant for UNICEF India, focusing on education. In 2004, they joined Sightsavers International as an Area Representative, leading a team responsible for managing eye care programs in several states.

In 2008, Antony joined Bharti Foundation as a Regional Head, and later took on roles including Head of Operations at Educomp Solutions Ltd and Project Director at Save the Children. In 2014, they became the Chief of School Excellence at Bharti Foundation, where they initiated large-scale programs for systemic change in the education system. Antony also provided leadership for the Satya Bharti School Program and Quality Support Program, managing academic departments and expanding the program to 800 schools in 12 states of India.

Antony completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Maths from Sacred Heart College Tiruppattur between 1992 and 1995.

Earlier, Antony obtained a B.Ph degree in Philosophy from divya daan, Nashik, from 1990 to 1992. Before that, they completed a Pre University Course in Mathematics at St. Antony's college Shillong from 1987 to 1989. Antony's secondary education includes obtaining SSLC from Don Bosco Mannuthy, Trichur, from 1983 to 1986.
