Prasad Selvaraj

Prasad Selvaraj has extensive experience in the field of overhead transmission and distribution systems. Prasad started their career in 2011 as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer at Voltech Engineers Pvt. Ltd, where they conducted tests and diagnosed sub-station equipment. In 2013, they joined Ramelex Pvt Ltd Pune India as a Technical Manager, overseeing feasibility studies and coordinating manufacturing, installation, and testing activities. Prasad worked on replacing existing conventional conductors with high-temperature and low-sag (HTLS) conductors. In 2017, Prasad joined Sterlite Power as a Manager and later became Chief Manager - New Product development. In this role, they utilized their 10 years of experience to design, develop, test, analyze, and implement HTLS conductors. Prasad also worked on various projects, including TBCB packages and upgrade segments for domestic and international utilities and private customers.

Prasad Selvaraj earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maharaja Engineering College, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in PGDC-Transmission & Distribution system from the National Power Training Institute in Delhi in December 2012.
