Dr. Srinivas Reddy

Dr. Srinivas Reddy is a highly experienced professional in the field of optics and optical sciences, currently serving as the Head of New Product and Process Development at STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited since January 2016. With a progressive career at STL, Dr. Reddy has held roles including Lead Optical Simulation and Fibre Design Manager, and Fiber Designer. Prior to joining STL, Dr. Reddy completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and served as a PhD Scholar at the IITB-Monash Research Academy, focusing on optics. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from IITB-Monash Research Academy, a Master of Science and Technology in Engineering Physics from National Institute of Technology Warangal, and a Bachelor's degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Girraj Government Degree College. Additional experience includes a project assistant role at the Central Scientific Instruments Organization, where Dr. Reddy worked on fiber sensor technology.
