Kathy Thomas

Kathy Thomas is an experienced music professional with a background in education and performance. Currently serving as an adjunct professor of French horn at Stetson University since August 2012, Kathy also fulfills the role of substitute teacher for the Polk County School Board since 2011, covering various arts and academic subjects. As a musician with the Orlando Philharmonic since September 2004, Kathy plays third French horn, while also maintaining an active freelance music career that began in 1992. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing studies there from 1988 to 1992, and is a graduate of Willowbrook High School.
