Frantz-Lairy Obas

Frantz-Lairy Obas, Ph.D, has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Frantz-Lairy is currently working as the Director of Product Innovation at Steuben Foods Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Ohayo Valley from February 2022 to May 2022. Frantz-Lairy also participated in the Cambridge University Alt. Protein Society from January 2022 to May 2022. Frantz-Lairy's academic experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2018 to May 2022. In addition, they gained research experience as a Protein Application Research Intern at Agropur US Operations from May 2021 to August 2021. Before pursuing their Ph.D, they engaged in the Learning By Doing program at EAP Zamorano from January 2014 to December 2017.

Frantz-Lairy Obas, Ph.D, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. degree in Food Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2018 to 2022. Previously, they pursued their Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Food Science and Technology from EAP Zamorano, from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they have also acquired several additional certifications including: Foundations of Project Management from Coursera in March 2023, Learning Design Thinking, Project Management Tips, and Technical Product Management from LinkedIn in February 2022.
