COMMISSIONED WORK
I do work for private clients including:
Weddings (I’m a member of Ballarat Wedding Industry Network (incl. weddings),
Specialist portraits (eg. historical styled and sunset silhouettes), modern portraits
I work from a home base in Franklin, Tasmania.
WHERE I’M PUBLISHED
Pentaxians Yearbook (international) 2021.
Some of my work was published in 2017 in the illustrated book of poetry “Miracles of Mercy & Grace” (see http://stevebarnes.photography/miracles-of-mercy-grace/). I have been interviewed on radio regarding my photography. I’ve had photos used in a children's educational book in Hong Kong, in German Travel literature and elsewhere on the Internet.
Much of my work in ViewBug is available as prints, and some as paid downloads. See https://steve-barnes-photography.viewbug.com/ for a menu driven view and https://www.viewbug.com/member/steve-barnes-photography for my timeline.
I’ve also got a few photo journals at https://stevebarnes.exposure.co/. You may find these interesting.
I find it easy and pleasurable to interact with crowds as well as individuals and small groups, occasionally talk to community groups about photography.
I do pet photography for clients, but also as photographic art, previously as Four Foot Fotos (http://www.fourfootfotos.com). I also enjoy script writing and interviewing, and dabble in videography. I do this and other commercial work.
