Kathryn Kaalberg has extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Kathryn is currently working at Steve Madden as a Designer for Steve Madden Apparel. Prior to this role, they were an Associate Designer for Steve Madden, BB Dakota. Kathryn also has experience at Maggy London Inc. as an Associate Designer and Assistant Designer. Kathryn has worked at Centric Brands as an Assistant Designer and at Global Brands Group as an Assistant Designer, where they played a vital role in creating tech packs and maintaining organized files. Additionally, Kathryn has experience as a Team Member at JOANN Stores, where they assisted customers and restocked merchandise. Kathryn has also served as the Tech Design Director for The Fashion Show at Iowa State, a large student-produced fashion show. In their earlier years, Kathryn worked as a Student Consultant at the ISU Writing & Media Center, where they tutored and guided students in various forms of communication. Kathryn Kaalberg completed their general education at West Liberty High School from 2009 to 2013. Kathryn then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design - Creative and Technical Design at Iowa State University from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, in 2015, Kathryn had a study abroad experience at the University of Valencia, where they focused on Spanish.
