Lisa C. has over 30 years of work experience in the fashion industry. Lisa started their career as a Design Assistant for Petra in 1991. Lisa then moved on to KENNETH COLE PRODUCTIONS in 1996, where they worked as the V.P. of Men's Footwear Design and Product Development for Kenneth Cole Reaction until 2009.

In 2008, Lisa joined The Fashion Institute of Technology as a Professor of Accessory Design, a role they held until 2010. During their time at FIT, they also worked at Synclaire brands Inc. as the VP of Footwear Design. At Synclaire brands Inc., Lisa was responsible for designing footwear collections for well-known brands like Kenneth Cole, Cole Haan, Elie Tahari, Isaac Mizrahi, and Ivanka Trump.

Most recently, Lisa is currently working at Steve Madden as the Creative Design Director, a position they have held since 2018.

Lisa C. has a diverse education history. Lisa started their education at St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing from 1982 to 1985, where they earned their R.N degree in Nursing. Following this, Lisa attended Southern Connecticut State University from 1985 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Psychology.

In 1985, Lisa also briefly studied Art and Italian language at the University of Urbino in Italy.

Later on, Lisa enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995, specializing in Accessory Design. Lisa obtained a Millinery Certificate during their time there.

Additionally, Lisa attended ARS Sutoria in Milan, Italy, in 1995-1996. Lisa received a Certificate in CAD, Footwear and Handbag Patternmaking. Lisa also completed a CAD-CAM system course for computerized footwear and a Leather Goods Handbags Modelist Designer course at the same institution.

Although it is not specified, Lisa C. obtained further certifications in Footwear Modelista from ARS Sutoria in Milan at some point. However, the exact month and year are not provided.
