Noor al-Shalash

Noor Al-Shalash is currently a Building Systems Analyst at Steven Winter Associates since June 2023, previously serving as a Building Systems Intern. Al-Shalash has extensive experience in sustainability initiatives, having worked as a Sustainability Intern at the University of Texas at Austin from January 2021 to May 2023, where research focused on updating the university's Sustainability Master Plan. Additional experience includes roles as an Operations Intern at Second Nature, Programs Intern at Austin Parks Foundation, and Research Assistant at the Computational Materials Lab, all contributing to a strong foundation in community outreach, research on climate action, and renewable energy technologies. Al-Shalash also has political involvement, having served as a Fellow for the Lorie Burch for Congress Campaign and as Campus Coordinator for March For Our Lives Dallas, leading efforts to engage youth in political activism. Al-Shalash holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in May 2023.
