James Chettleburgh BSc(Hons) MSc MRTPI is an accomplished planning professional with extensive experience in local government. Currently serving as the Head of Planning and Enforcement at Stevenage Borough Council since December 2013, James has also held the position of Interim Assistant Director of Planning and Regulation. Prior roles include Development Manager, Principal Planner, and Senior Planning Officer at Hertsmere Borough Council, where responsibilities encompassed processing planning applications and engaging with the community for sustainable development. James holds a Master’s degree in Town and Country Planning from Anglia Ruskin University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Hertfordshire.
