Rhona Bellis

Rhona Bellis has extensive experience in the field of accounting, with their most recent position being the Head of Technical Accounting at Stevenage Borough Council since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Acting Chief Accountant at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead from September 2021 to February 2022, and as the Lead Accountant from January 2020 to August 2021. Rhona also held the role of Finance Manager at West Berkshire Council from May 2018 to January 2020. Earlier in their career, Rhona worked as the Principal Accountant at Capita Business Services from August 2016 to April 2018 and at South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils from July 2003 to August 2016. Rhona began their career as a Financial Controller at AXIMA, where they worked from January 2000 to June 2003.

Rhona Bellis obtained a Bachelor of Science Hons (BSc) in Geography from the University of Glasgow between 1982 and 1987. Rhona also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from Heriot-Watt University in 1986-1987. Rhona Bellis obtained an additional certification, FCCA, from ACCA in November 1995.
