Director, Alumni Engagement at Stevens Institute of Technology

Edward Yao has a diverse work experience in alumni engagement and relations. Edward currently holds the role of Director of Alumni Engagement at Stevens Institute of Technology, where they focus on building a student-centered culture of philanthropy and engagement. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Director of Alumni Relations at Ross University School of Medicine, overseeing the development and implementation of alumni programs. Edward also worked at The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, Baruch College as an Assistant Director of Graduate Alumni Relations, supervising alumni outreach and event planning. Additionally, they worked at Ross University School of Medicine as an Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Relations, managing the annual budget program and strategically engaging alumni. Edward also held the roles of Alumni Relations Coordinator and New Student Coordinator during their tenure at the institution.

Edward Yao earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Rutgers University from 1999 to 2002. Edward then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2006 to 2008.
