Kimberly Barletta, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Kimberly started their career as an SAT Prep Teacher & Tutor at Kaplan Test Prep Services, Inc. In this role, they delivered curriculum to help students improve their critical reading, mathematics, and writing skills for college admissions.

Kimberly then worked at the University of South Carolina as a Peer Health Educator, where they raised awareness about sexual health and violence prevention issues through campus-wide events and presentations.

Kimberly also gained experience at the University of Virginia as a Career Services Graduate Intern, assisting students with career development, job search, and graduate school applications. Kimberly later became the Director of the Career Peer Educator Program, overseeing program activities and managing volunteer career peer educators.

At Semester At Sea/ISE, they served as an Outreach Coordinator, leading student programs and international outreach efforts on a global comparative study abroad program.

Currently, they are employed at Stevens Institute of Technology as the Director of Operations in the Office of Graduate Education. In this role, they provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational guidance to a large staff across various functional areas.

Additionally, Kimberly has held other roles such as Founder and Chair of the Staff Development Committee at Stevens Institute of Technology and Manager at the Center for Faculty Advancement.

Kimberly Barletta, Ed.D. completed their Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attained a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Virginia from 2011 to 2012. Their undergraduate studies were conducted from 2007 to 2011 at the University of South Carolina, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology, Sociology, and Education. Additionally, they participated in a Study Abroad program at Semester At Sea/ISE in 2009. Before their university education, they attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School from 2003 to 2007. Kimberly also holds certifications such as SHRM-SCP from SHRM, which they obtained in January 2021, and they are a Certified Everything DiSC Workplace Facilitator, obtained in 2017 from Wiley.
