Jennifer Knecht

Jennifer Knecht is a seasoned educator and social worker currently serving as Principal and previously as School Social Worker at Stevens Point Area Public School District since July 2014. With a focus on supporting students with 504 Accommodation Plans, Jennifer Knecht collaborates with families and community agencies to address attendance issues and mental health challenges. Prior experience includes leading the Youth Net team at Marshfield Clinic Center for Community Outreach from January 2008 to July 2014, where responsibilities encompassed program design, coordination, and supervision. Additionally, Jennifer Knecht completed internships in school social work at the School District of Marshfield and Marshfield School District, enhancing understanding of behavioral and social emotional interventions. Jennifer Knecht holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
