Ruben Amaya

Ruben Amaya is an experienced professional with a strong background in admissions and political engagement. Currently serving as an Admissions Counselor at Stevenson University since March 2020, Ruben also holds leadership roles as President of the Student Government and as a Student Ambassador within the university's Admissions Department. Additionally, Ruben has been active in the Maryland political landscape, currently serving as the Third Vice-Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party since December 2022 and previously as an At-Large Member of the Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee from October 2020 to December 2022. Ruben Amaya ran as a candidate for Delegate in Maryland's 10th district from February 2021 to July 2022. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Stevenson University, where enrollment took place from 2019 to 2023, and completed high school at Franklin High School from 2016 to 2019.
