M. Eric McEver has extensive experience in the food industry, with a focus on research and development. M. Eric began their career as a Food Technologist at Schweigert Foods in 2000, before moving on to Archer Daniels Midland in 2001. At both companies, they worked in the role of Food Technologist. In 2005, McEver joined ConAgra Foods as a Food Technologist before transitioning to Butterball LLC in 2006, where they served as an R&D Manager. In 2009, they joined Jennie-O Turkey Store as an R&D Research Scientist. Most recently, McEver has worked at Stevison Meat Company, starting as the Director of Product Development and Innovation in 2016 and later being promoted to Vice President of Product Development and Innovation in 2020.
M. Eric McEver holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Meat Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agriculture, specializing in Animal Sciences, at The University of Georgia from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they acquired an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree from Gainesville College between 1992 and 1994.
