J. Eric Field

Western Divisional President for Steward Partners Global Advisory. He has been a professional in the financial industry for over 25 years, spending the last 15 of those in senior leadership roles. Prior to joining Steward, Eric was the Chief Executive Officer for Umpqua Investments in Portland, OR where he was responsible for the executive leadership, strategic vision, business planning, and overall management of the organization. Eric played a significant role in the successful acquisition of Umpqua Investments to Steward Partners in April of 2021.

Eric has a BA from Brigham Young University and holds both the CFP® and CIMA® designations. He and his wife Suzanne live in Seattle and have three daughters, Taryn 24, Ashlyn 21, and Camryn 18. Eric cherishes spending time with his family, traveling, concerts, loves sports and the outdoors.
