Adriano Agnello

Adriano Agnello is a Principal AI Researcher at STFC, where they manage a team focusing on AI solutions for applied sciences and engineering. Prior to this role, Adriano served as a Senior AI Researcher at STFC and an Assistant Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen. They have extensive experience in classification and rare-object detection, as well as emulation for plasma physics and control in magnetic confinement fusion. Adriano earned a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge and has collaborated with national labs in the US and UKAEA on various projects.
