Martin Samuel Nielsen

Martin Samuel Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Martin Samuel is currently serving as the Group CISO at Stibo A/S since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the CISO at Stibo Systems since November 2013. Martin also worked at BDO ScanRevision as an IT-revisor from January 2010 to October 2013. Before that, they were an Information Security Officer at Vestas Wind Systems A/S from March 2008 to December 2009. Martin's earlier work experience includes roles such as IT Security Consultant at VELUX A/S, Auditor at Kommunernes Revision, and Assistant/Trainee at Hinnerup Kommune.

Martin Samuel Nielsen's education history is as follows:

In 1989 to 1991, Martin studied Economics at Aarhus Business College, earning a degree in HH.

From 1995 to 1996, they attended Aarhus University, where they pursued a degree in Law (HA Jur).

Between 1996 and 2004, Martin continued their education at Aarhus University, studying Information Technology and Project Management (HD-I).

Martin Samuel then obtained various certifications in the field of Information Security and Risk Management. In 2006, they became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) through ISACA.

In 2008, Martin earned the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credential, also from ISACA. Additionally, they completed the Eksamineret Sikkerhedsleder (ESL) course at PWC Academy in the same year.

In 2009, Martin became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)2.

In 2011, they obtained the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA.

In 2012 to 2014, Martin attended Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA) with a focus on Organizational Leadership.

Most recently, in 2020, Martin obtained the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification from ISACA.
