Laura Kok has extensive experience in administrative and managerial roles, primarily in non-profit and service-oriented organizations. Currently serving as the Contact Person for Inheritances and Financial Administration at Stichting AAP since 2014, Laura provides advice and maintains relationships with donors considering bequests. From 2008 to 2013, Laura coordinated the back office at Stichting AAP, leading a fundraising service team and managing various operational tasks. Previously, Laura held the position of Office Manager at Serin, overseeing regional administration and assisting management, and also gained experience as an Office Manager at BVA bond van adverteerders and as Head of Marketing and Traffic at Keesing. Laura began their career as a Company Leader at Raya Schoonmaak. Laura's educational background includes NIMA-A and Novex certifications.

AAP rescue centre for exotic animals AAP strives for a better future for exotic animal like primates, big cats and other exotic mammals. Unfortunately, we keep finding too many animals in difficult situations. They are illegally traded, misused as pets or mistreated in the tourism and entertainment industries. AAP’s approach is preventive, looking for long-term solutions to all these problems: informing the general public and making the case for better animal legislation in Europe is the first step. We rescue animals in need of urgent help so that they stand a chance to a better life. Our team helps them to become healthy and to ‘learn’ how to be an animal again, while looking for a permanent housing solution. That way we can make room in our rescue facilities in The Netherlands and Spain for new animals. Sharing our knowledge and working together with similar organizations such us the members of Eurogroup for Animals multiplies our impact.
