Richard van Rijn

Richard van Rijn has extensive experience in social services, particularly in support for the homeless. Since January 2010, Richard has worked with Stichting De Tussenvoorziening in various roles, including Activerend woonbegeleider specializing in the Housing First approach, Locatiemanager at the Koudweerlocatie, and Senior opvang medewerker, focusing on establishing contact with guests and providing basic needs such as food and shelter. Additionally, from January 2013 to September 2018, Richard served as the head of distribution for the Straatnieuws newspaper, which targets the homeless population in Utrecht and surrounding areas. Richard is academically grounded in Social Work from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and has education from Anna van Rijn in Nieuwegein.
