Raquel Abrahams

Raquel Abrahams serves as a member of the General Board at Capaciteitsorgaan and as Vice Chair of AJN Jeugdartsen Nederland, where responsibilities include leading national JGZ professional group discussions and focusing on areas such as profiling, adolescents, education participation, and mental health. Current roles also encompass working as a KNMG youth physician and researcher at Amsterdam UMC, addressing psychosomatic issues and school absenteeism among youth, alongside positions at GGD Amsterdam and Stichting @ease. Raquel Abrahams has extensive training experience in mindfulness and coaching, facilitating various programs aimed at different demographics, including healthcare professionals and children. Raquel Abrahams is pursuing a Master of Public Health at the Netherlands School of Public & Occupational Health, having previously completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at VU Amsterdam.
