Stichting Landschap Noord-Holland
Martijn De Jong currently serves as Senior Project Leader for large nature challenges at Stichting Landschap Noord-Holland, focusing on the creation of new nature areas, clean water, and increased biodiversity in rural areas. Concurrently, Martijn is a board member of Faunabeheereenheid Noord-Holland representing five nature conservation organizations, and a regional board member for Water Natuurlijk, overseeing water management in North-Western Netherlands. Previous roles include working as a Public Affairs Staff Member and Senior Policy Officer at Natuurmonumenten, where Martijn supported conservation programs in the Wadden Sea region. Additional experience includes positions with Waarneming.nl, Coalitie Wadden Natuurlijk, and Vogelbescherming Nederland, alongside significant involvement in the Wadden Sea restoration initiative through the Programma Naar een Rijke Waddenzee. Martijn holds a degree from the University of Groningen.
