Safya Rashwan

Safya Rashwan is a seasoned museum educator currently working at Tropenmuseum, Afrika Museum, and Museum Volkenkunde since November 2015, where expertise lies in promoting cultural diversity through engaging tours, storytelling, and the development of educational programs. Simultaneously, Safya has been a self-employed content creator and founder since May 2017, specializing in content production for creative branding and collaborating with notable industry figures such as Claes Iversen and Infofilm. Experience as a programmamaker and project worker at Stichting Critical Mass further enriched Safya's skills in developing interactive educational programs that emphasize social diversity and inclusion. An internship at Studio Louter involved collaboration with Opera Amsterdam to create interactive exhibitions for prestigious institutions. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts from VU Amsterdam, alongside studies in graphic design, journalism, business economics, and communication science from various esteemed institutions.
