Tim Frenzel

Tim Frenzel is an accomplished intensivist and anesthesiologist with extensive experience in critical care medicine, particularly in the fields of mechanical ventilation and weaning. Currently serving as Co-Supervisor for a PhD project at ICAI focusing on predictive modeling in ICU sepsis, Tim also holds positions as Medical Lead at the Radboudumc Expertisecentrum voor Ontwennen Beademing and as a founding member of the Critical Care Steering Board for Epic. With a commitment to enhancing patient care in the ICU and a focus on innovative practices, Tim has contributed significantly to various medical organizations, including the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. Tim's educational background includes an MD from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, complemented by additional specialized training in health innovation and data science.
