Cristian Avendaño Canto

Cristian Avendaño Canto currently serves as the Coördinator beleidsjuridisch cluster at the Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid and as the Algemeen programmacoördinator stelselvernieuwing rechtsbijstand. Cristian also holds positions as a member of the Board of Appeal at Stichting Reclame Code and as a member of the editorial board for Nederlandse Jurisprudentie at Wolters Kluwer. Previous experience includes serving as a trainee judge at Rechtbank Den Haag, as a law clerk at Hoge Raad der Nederlanden, and as an attorney at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Cristian has an extensive educational background with degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Nyenrode Business University, specializing in law and business administration.
